Nene Claire KING

Special Achievements:

Nene King was the first woman to sit on the board of Kerry Packer's publishing and broadcasting company which controls the Nine Network and Consolidated Press.

Additional Information:

Nene worked on magazines for 25 years. Her years as editor of Woman's Day were among the best in modern Australian journalism.  In just four years, she increased the circulation by 400,000 sales per week.
