Doris Margaret KUBISCH

Born: 2/10/1939

Special Achievements:

In 1987 , Doris set up "The Remote Women's Health Service" in Alice Springs and the Barkly.  She also worked as a nursing sister at Hermannsburg (from 1966), Papunya (from 1975), and Yirrara College (Alice Springs).  Thirty five years after first arriving in Central Australia, she retired from her nursing life  to live a quiet life in the Barossa Valley.

Additional Information:

1963 - Graduated Royal Adelaide Hospital, registered nurse.
1964 - Graduated Queen Victoria Maternity Hospital, midwifery training.
