Born: 29/11/1987

Special Achievements:

First Northern Territorian swimmer to win at world swim championships (50 meter butterfly).
2006 - Gold Medalist at Manchester Commonwealth Games - swimming - 50m butterfly.

Additional Information:

1999 - Won gold for the Territory, Australian Age Championships, in the 100 metres backstroke, under-13 division.
2002 - Miatke was the winner of the Northern Territory Junior Sports Person of the Year award.
2002 - Awarded the Northern Territory Institute of Sport National Athlete of the Year.
2006 - She was the winner of the Northern Territory Sports Person of the Year award.
2004 - Named the Fisher & Paykel Female Youth Swimmer of Year by Swimming Australia.
2004 - Miatke won silver in the 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay, and bronze in both the 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay and 4 × 100 metre medley relay, FINA Short Course World Championships, Indianapolis, United States.  Her best individual result at the meet was thirteenth in the 200 metre freestyle.
2005 - Miatke won gold in the 50 metre butterfly in Commonwealth record time at her first international long-course meet, World Aquatics Championships, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
2006 - Awarded Northern Territory Young Achievers Sports Award.
2006 - Miatke was a finalist in the Northern Territory for the Young Australian of the Year Award.
2006 - She won the 50 metre butterfly at the Telstra Commonwealth Games Trials and finished fifth in the 100 metres, qualifying for the Australian Commonwealth Games team.
2006 - Miatke won gold in the 50 metres butterfly, Commonwealth Games, Melbourne.
2006 & 2007 - Awarded Victorian Junior Female Athlete of the Year.
