NPWHF0760 - Pitman's Shorthand Instructors Book
The book was developed by Englishman Sir Isaac Pitman [1813-1897]. Like most system of shorthand, it is a phonetic system; the symbols do not represent letters, but rather sounds. The contents of the book contain directions to the students, the alphabet, some exercises and vocalization of double consonants.
