NPWHF1157 - Calendar, 1926
Calendar, 1926. No bands at top and bottom; nothing to use to hang on wall. Its dimensions are 443 mm in length, 284 mm in width. The “painting,” not including the border, is oval, 254 mm in length and 186 mm in width. It is torn at the top edge on the right and wrinkled at the edges.
The “painting” is of a white girl with brown hair, wearing a white, sleeveless nightgown, and is barefoot. She has a barrette in her hair (left side) and is wearing a bracelet on her left wrist. She is kneeling on a rug in front of a fire in the fireplace with grating in front of it. Beside her, to the left, is a brown teddy bear and a white candle in a pewter candlestick holder.
Behind her is a flower pot and a hassock/pouffe/tuffet.
The border is green. At the top is a young boy kneeling on the left side of a made bed.
Under the picture is printed:

The calendar has wrinkles from being rolled for many years.
