Alisa Peta CAMPLIN
Born: 10 November 1974
Special Achievements:"Alisa Camplin is Australia's first female Winter Olympic gold medalist, dual Olympic medalist, World Champion, World Record Holder and two times WC Grand Prix Champion."
2000 - Received the Australian Sports Medal.
2002 - Won gold at Salt Lake City, Utah, United States winter Olympics.
2003 - Awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia, for 2002 gold medal win.
2006 - Won bronze at Torino winter Olympics.
2008 - Inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
2019 - Appointed a Member of the Order of Australia, in recognition of her "significant service to the community through support for paediatric health care".
