Special Achievements:2002 – Mental Health Week – "Sarah organised and hosted the first mental health community forum ever in Alice Springs”, Northern Territory.
5 April 2003 - Recipient, and the youngest (19 years) in the 2003 awards, of a Territory Young Achiever award in the Regional Initiative category.
July 2003 - Selected as Young Territorian, for organizing the first Mental Health Forum in Alice Springs.
2007 - The first young person (aged 23) appointed to the National Advisory Board for the Australian Mental Health Consumer Network.
