Special Achievements:

South Australia's first female probation officer for juvenile offenders in 1906. She was appointed to the South Australia Police Force with Annie Ross in 1915, the first police women in Australia and the British Empire with the same pay and conditions as policemen.

1915 - Became first Principal of Women Police in South Australia.
With Annie Ross founded the South Australian Women Police Branch.

1935 - Appointed M.B.E. (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).
