Constance Elizabeth D'ARCY
Born: 1 June 1879
Died: 25 April 1950
Special Achievements:1914 - Appointed to University of Sydney's Senate.
1925-1939 - Honorary surgeon at the Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney.
3 June 1935 - Appointed as Dame of the Order of the British Empire on for
Services to the welfare of children.
1940 - The pope honoured her with the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice.
1943-1946 - Became the first women deputy chancellor, Sydney University.
1944 - President of the Business and Professional Women's Club, Sydney.
