Eileen Mary Florence GOOD

Special Achievements:Australia's first female academic in Architecture, she was the third woman to enter the new Diploma of Architecture course at the University of Melbourne in 1917 and the first woman to graduate three years later. She was also the first female member of the Royal Victorian Institute of Architects. In 1924 she was appointed Senior Demonstrator at Melbourne University's School of Architecture, the first full-time staff member. Promoted to Lecturer in 1949, she worked her entire career there as an academic.

Elected first woman Associate of the Victorian Institute of Architects.
1924 - First full time Officer of Architecture in University of Melbourne.
