Special Achievements:

1956 - Appointed first Australian Girl Guide International Commissioner.
1960 - Awarded Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Guiding.

Additional Information:

Pioneer of Girl Guides in Victoria.
1925 - Established first Sandringham Girl Guide Unit - few years later established Sandringham District Rangers.
1930s - Became full-time trainer in United Province in India for 5 years. During World War II, she joined Australian Women's Army Service (AWAS).
1946 - Appointed leader of small Girl Guide International Service Team carrying out medical work in British Malaya.
