Dorothy Helena HERBERT

Additional Information:Dorothy Herbert started with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in 1961, located at Charleville, Queensland. She worked 20 years for them, flew all over the outback, and attended outback clinics and emergencies. In 1963, she purchased her first aircraft which she also piloted herself. She was a wireless operator in the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force during World War II.
