Special Achievements:

The first female Senior Lecture in any discipline at Sydney's Conservatorium of Music. Appointed in 1968, she later became the first woman president of the New South Wales Music Teachers Association and the first woman adjudicator at several nationwide Eisteddfods.

1968 - First woman Senior Lecturer in any discipline at the Conservatorium of Music, Sydney.
1980 - First woman President of Music Teachers' Association of New South Wales.
1980 - First woman Adjudicator of several Eisteddfods.
1995 - First Singing Teacher in Australia awarded Hon. F. Mus. A of the Australian Music Examinations Board.
1987 - First Adjudicator at Central Australian Eisteddfod.
