Nikki along with her mother are the first women to complete the Explorer's Grand Slam, the Seven Summits which includes Mt Everest. May 2008.
Together with her mother, Cheryl, they were the first Mother/Daughter team to conquer the Seven Summits.

Cheryl and Nikki Bart were jointly awarded in 2008 the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award.
