Special Achievements

• Cheryl is the first Australian female and the 31st person worldwide to complete the Explorer's Grand Slam.
• The Seven Summits which includes Mt Everest was completed in May 2008.
• Together with her Daughter, Nikki, they were the first Mother/Daughter team to reach the summit of Mount Everest and complete all Seven Summits.
• 2009 Cheryl was awarded an Order of Australia Medal.
• Cheryl was also unsupported skiing to the North and South Poles.  She completed the North Pole in 2013.

Additional Information

Cheryl and Nikki Bart were jointly awarded in 2008 the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award.
