Special Achievements

Julie Boyd was the first woman Mayor of Mackay City Council, Queensland (1997-2008).

Additional Information

With a background in governance, Julie has since served in a variety of positions (e.g. special trade representative for Africa, Japan, Korea and the Philippines for the Queensland Government; Chair of the Urban Land Development Authority and Board member  of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland, the Institute of Managers and Leaders, Central Queensland Rescue and the YWCA). She also does executive coaching and mentoring and in 2016 was elected Chair of Reef Catchments Limited.
