In 1914 she passed Building Construction and History of Architecture at the Brisbane Central Technical College, a source of pride to her father. She remained with her brother in the succeeding firm of G.H.M Addison and Son until 1928, several years after her father's death, then moved to Sydney and retired to religious seclusion. No designs have been attributed to her or documented to this day due to the predominance of male contribution in the field. Her work and contribution was never documented or recognized.
