First Australian woman to be President of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations; has been an engineer for 30 years; founded a company specialising in safety, risk management and corporate governance and co-founded another in intelligent video analytics. Fellow of both the Australian and New Zealand Institution of Engineers, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors; holds degrees from the University of Bombay, University of London and a doctorate from Macquarie University.
