1895 - After her pioneer sheep station parents, a brother and sister were tragically drowned in a boating accident, Belinda (aged 13 1/2 years) looked after her remaining three sisters and two brothers on the uninhabited Trefoil Island for 6 weeks with little food until the coastal steamer called with provisions.
