- 1948 - First woman commercial pilot in Western Australia. Awarded the Coronation Medal for representing the women's flying branch of the R.A.F.
- First female pilot to fly for the Australian Aerial Medical Service, now the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

- 1944 - Joined the Women’s Royal Australian Air Force and spent two years as an aircraft electrician.
