  • Author the poem "My Country" and others including "The Closed Door,", "The Witch Maid,"  "Dream Harbour," and "Fancy Dress."  Also wrote novels such as "Outlaws Luck,"  "The Little Blue Devil," and "Two's Company."
  • 1968 - Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
