  • Instigator and Founder of the first golf club in Australia (Mount Ommaney, Brisbane, Queensland) to be administered entirely by women, named the McLeod Country Golf Club in her honour.

Additional Information

  • 1934 - McLeod was elected president of the Queensland Ladies' Golf Union.
  • 1949-54 - McLeod served as president of the Australian Ladies' Golf Union. 1962 - McLeod was awarded honorary life membership of the Queensland Ladies' Golf Union.
