  • 1964 - First woman stockbroker in Australia and almost certainly the world.

  • 1952 - Received Bachelor of Commerce degree, University of Queensland.
  • 1952 - She joined the firm Corser Henderson & Hale.
  • 1973. Bachelor of Arts, The University of Queensland.
  • 1996 - Received an honorary Doctorate of Philosophy, University of Queensland in recognition of services to the state and university.
  • 1996 - She was appointed a member of the Order of Australia in for services to the finance industry and the community.
  • 2003 - Awarded the Centenary Medal for distinguished service to business and commerce.
  • 2006 - Griffith University awarded her the honorary degree of Doctor of the University.
