• October 1957 - One of 26 women to take the inaugural "women only" ten day tour to "Alice Springs and Beyond," which was Uluru.

• In her NPWHF file is a copy of her "story 'A Rock to Remember' taking it from 1957 when I first went to Uluru (then known as Ayers Rock) through the changes to the present day [27 March 2003]."
