• 1991 - First woman public trustee in Australia.  Order of Australia for service to people with a disability and to the community through a range of social welfare, health, and charitable organisations.

• Retired in March 2002 as a public trustee, after 25 years as public servant.  Chair of the Board of Health Services Charitable Gifts Board.  President of Spastic Centers of South Australia.  Deputy Director of Legal Services Commission.  1989 - appointed founding member of South Australia Government's Privacy Committee.  Meber of Women's Advisory Council.  President of the Institute of Public Administration, Australia.
